What is a REPS Priority Group household?
In South Australia, yo ensure access to upgrades are available to vulnerable customers, energy retailers dedicate an amount of incentives for Priority Groups, which are a residential premises in which a person resides who:
- Hold one of the following cards:
- Commonwealth Government pensioner concession card
- Health Care Card
- TPI Gold Repatriation Health Card
- War Widows Gold Repatriation Health Card
- Gold Repatriation Health Card (EDA)
- Receive the SA government energy bill concession
- Has a rental agreement for a home of $500 or less per week
- Is actively participating in an energy retailer hardship program or payment plan
- Has received a referral from a registered member of the South Australian Financial Counsellors Association (SAFCA).
Those who qualify as a Priority Group household may be eligible for additional financial incentives, and access to exclusive rebates.
The card, concession, agreement or referral must be valid when applying for an incentive under REPS.
