A Site is defined as an address or a unique identifier, which can be an NMI.
A Site is defined as an address or a unique identifier, which can be an NMI. Therefore addresses with multiple NMIs, and with distinct loads, may each have one BESS4 or BESS5 implementation.
For example:
| Address | Business | NMI | BESS | Claim |
| 1555 Retail St Sydney, NSW | Tenant 1 | 123456789 | 150 kWh | Claim 1 - BESS4 |
| Tenant 2 | 987654321 | 500 kWh | Claim 2 - BESS5 | |
| Base Building | 123459876 | 1,000 kWh | Claim 3 - BESS5 |
Please note: Evidence of an NMI being pre-existing and in use may be required for multiple NMI claims. The installation of an NMI for the sole purpose of PDRS utilisation is not within the programs intended scope and should not occur.
